2026 National Japanese Exam

The National Japanese Exam (NJE) is an online, proficiency-oriented, standards-based and culture-related assessment tool, aligned with ACTFL Guidelines. It is for middle school, high school, and college students of Japanese as a second language.

National Japanese Exam (NJE)は、第2言語として日本語を学習している中学・高校・大学生向けの、プロフィシェンシー重視、スタンダーズベースのテストで、また文化能力を評価するテストです。

NJE can be used to recognize students’ achievements in the study of Japanese and to stimulate their further interest in learning the language.

NJEは日本語学習の成果を讃え、また日本語学習に対してさらに学習意欲を高めることを目的としています。
